BACKGROUND: Despite utter non-existence of supporting scientific evidence, homeopathy seems to persist. DISCUSSION: The author of this article takes a clever and critical look at the layers upon layers of excuses provided by proponents of homeopathy as to why it can't be scientifically tested. Additionally, discussion of what (or whether or not there could even be) a placebo constructed that would lend itself to scientific study is follows. HARRY'S COMMENT: Ahh, homeopathy. Indeed the "thinking" behind it is very "magical".
